Our Philosophy
We preserve the unbroken lineage of Bharatanatyam, Kathak, and Kuchipudi — transmitted exactly as taught in ancient gurukul systems, honouring every mudra, rhythm, and raga with complete fidelity.
Our gurukul-style pedagogy demands discipline, devotion, and mastery. Students train across Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Carnatic Music, Yoga, and Martial Arts — building artists of complete depth.
Over 3,000 performances across India, USA, Australia, and Canada have carried India's classical heritage to international stages — earning recognition from Prime Ministers and cultural institutions worldwide.
About the Institution
Kailasa Kaladhara Cultural Organisation was founded to preserve India's classical performing arts as living disciplines — not museum artefacts — under the guidance of Smt. Vid. Dr. K. Jayalakshmi Jithendra Bhagavat, one of Karnataka's most decorated masters of Bharatanatyam. From intimate arangetrams in Bangalore to grand stages before Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our students carry forward a tradition thousands of years old.

Witnessing the performances of Kailasa Kaladhara fills one with immense pride. This institution is doing remarkable work in preserving India's rich cultural heritage for future generations, and their dedication to classical arts is truly inspiring.
Kailasa Kaladhara stands as a beacon of Karnataka's cultural pride. The excellence of their classical training and the calibre of their performances reflect the highest standards of our ancient art traditions. Karnataka is proud of this institution.
As an educator, I have rarely encountered an institution that balances academic rigour with artistic devotion so perfectly. The students of Kailasa Kaladhara demonstrate not just technical mastery, but a deep spiritual understanding of classical dance that is profoundly rare.
Kailasa Kaladhara represents exactly the kind of cultural institution that deserves the full support of India's corporate and philanthropic community. Their work in bringing classical arts to young students is an investment in the nation's civilisational identity.
